Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
• 2+ years project experience in structural engineering consultancy
• Strong analytical skills and experience in a range of software
• Undertake structural analysis using FEM software, Tekla and others
• Working knowledge of BS/EN standards
• Prepare 2D drawings of good quality

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out structural calculation across a range of different materials
• Represent GL&SS externally at design team meetings and site meetings
• Coordinate with architect and other engineering disciplines
• Conduct site visits and structural investigations
• Prepare technical reports, documentation for clients and site reports
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Interest in the development of 3D modelling tools
• Able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
• A keen interest in architecture and design
